Yellow Wood Music and Outdoors Festival

Join us in McKinney over Memorial Day weekend for a FREE one of a kind event experience! 

The Yellow Wood Music & Outdoors Festival is all about great music and the great outdoors! Help us celebrate Memorial Day weekend with our event partners The Warrior's Keep! The festival will take place in McKinney at Myers Park! 

Featured Activities:

RACE TO BRUNCH 5K
Join us for the Race to Brunch 5k that will take place at the 'Polo Field' at Myers Park! The scenic field race will be chip timed and all participants will receive an event tee and swag bag! There will be food and brunch beverages available at the finish line!

MUSIC
We'll have 6+ bands playing throughout the day! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and jam out at the amphitheater! 

RECREATION
The event will feature over 50 recreation classes! Take a few of your favorite recreation classes or spend the day trying new things! Some of our classes include yoga, fly fishing 101, pilates, archery, goat yoga, meditation, paddle boarding, mountain biking, bootcamp, hiit classes and so many others! The full schedule will be published on the event website in March!

CLASSES
Join us at the hilltop pavilion for one of our 'simple sessions'. Local experts will be leading classes every half hour. Some examples are compass navigating, wine growing, archery, summer cocktail mixology, backpacking 101, stress relief meditation, gardening and herbs, setting up a camp, how to be a savvy traveler, kids outdoor adventure lessons and the art of minimalism. 

CRAFT BEER, LOCAL WINES & DELICIOUS FOOD
We're partnering with local restaurants, TUPPS Brewery and Caudalie Crest Winery to bring you a taste of North Texas! There's something delicious for everyone to enjoy!

ARTISAN VILLAGE
We'll have over 50 artisans featured at the festival! From wood work to handmade jewelry and everything in between- you'll love browsing through the artisan village featuring 50 of our favorite artists and brands!

CAMPING
There are a limited number of campsites available onsite at the festival grounds! Email us for information at hello@yellowwoodfestival.com! Camping will feature s'mores stations and a family friendly movie night!

BARN YARD PARTY Presented by TRINITY FALLS
We're ending #thebestdayever with a celebratory dinner and party at the Myers Park Pole Barn! The event will feature a bbq dinner, wine and beer, The Justin Merritt Band, dancing, lawn games, photo booth and fire pit s'mores! The party is for those 21+. The event will be held from 7pm-10pm.

Celebrate Arbor Day and a beautiful, vibrant Denton at this year's Denton Redbud Festival, hosted by Keep Denton Beautiful! 

25th Annual Denton Redbud Festival
Denton Civic Center
Saturday, April 21, 2018
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

This award-winning community festival – Denton’s official Arbor Day celebration – features dozens of vendor booths with plant sales, home improvement products and local/handmade crafts, as well as special celebratory activities for Arbor Day, a Kids' Zone with bounce houses, a live TRASHion Fashion Runway Show at noon, educational workshops, and live music performances throughout the day. Local printer Pan Ector Industries will be live printing exclusive Redbud Festival and Keep Denton Beautiful merchandise. Admission is FREE.
